Exciting Events in Singapore!

ASIA DIVE EXPO 2009 (23 to 26 April)

Asia Dive Expo is Asia's largest and longest running exhibition for the dive industry and related businesses. Marine conservation will be highlighted this year with a stellar lineup of international marine experts featuring famed explorer and National Geographic photographer Emory Kristof. He will share his exploratory expeditions including the discovery of the Titanic, deep-sea vents in the Galapagos and reveal the truth about the Loch Ness Monster of Scotland.

Where: Marina at Keppel Bay, 2 Keppel Bay Vista, near VivoCity
Check out the website http://asiadiveexpo.com/ for more details!

Big Blue by National Geographic (24 April to 3 May)

This event will showcase a giant mock-up baby blue whale, together with information on how the world’s eminent blue whale scientists embark on a revolutionary mission to find, identify and tag California blue whales, use the DNA samples to confirm the sex of individual whales, then rejoin the massive creatures’ stunning migration when they collect at a chimera known as the Costa Rica Dome.

Students, conservationists, nature and photography enthusiasts can get insights into the Blue Whale's mother-child relationship at this exhibition by the National Geographic Channel.

Where: VivoCity, Central Court A
